To upgrade or downgrade your photo storage, click the Billing link. To add an additional 5 GB’s of space, click the Add Extra Space button, select your option, then click Continue. You will then be required to log into your PayPal account to finalize your payment.
If you stop payments, you will have 30 days from the next renewal date to backup or delete any photo galleries that exceed your current storage plan. If no action is taken, after 30 days, the most recent galleries uploaded after your allotted space (free or paid) will be placed in a frozen status.
If you cancel with time left in the monthly billing period, your storage space will not be interrupted for the remainder of the paid month. If paying annually, you will receive a prorated refund. If additional plans are deleted and your photos exceed the remaining allotted space (free or paid), you will have 30 days to backup or delete any photo galleries that exceed your current storage plan. If no action is taken, after 30 days, the most recent galleries uploaded after your allotted space (free or paid) will be placed in a frozen status.
Unfortunately, any unused storage space will not be refunded. However, users have the option to downgrade at any point. Prior to downgrading, users should check the Billing area to view their current plan and available space. Users should ensure they have sufficient storage space to maintain current photo galleries.
Yes, click the My Profile link to update your email address used for logging in. This will require you to log into that email address to validate the account.
Phone numbers are necessary to validate accounts, should a user get locked out and have difficulty resetting their account.
To share an individual gallery or world map, click the Shared Maps link. You will then click Share World Map or Share a Gallery. If sharing a gallery, locate the gallery name in the list, then click the Share link that appears when hovering over the gallery name. When sharing, you will have the option to get a shareable link that can be emailed to others or posted on social media. Users can also type the email addresses directly in the share dialog box, add a personal message, then click Share.
To permanently remove any shared permissions, click the Shared Maps link, locate the items to be deleted, then click the delete button beneath Action.
In the Shared Maps area, hover over the heading to be sorted by, then click the arrow that appears. You will have the option to sort in ascending or descending order.
Users have the option to share individual galleries or the entire world map. At this time, you cannot share all galleries within one individual state or country.
Galleries are sorted in the order uploaded. However, to quickly locate a gallery from the My Map view, you can click the map to narrow it down to a location or perform a search on trip name, country name, etc.
To create new galleries, click the Add and Update Galleries link, then Add Gallery. You will then be able to type in a gallery name, the date, and perform a search on the location. Drag photos on the image or browse to upload photos. Photos must be in the JPG, PNG, or GIF formats.
Currently, the website does not support video file formats. Only JPG, PNG, and GIF files types are allowed.
To add additional photos to an existing gallery, click the Add and Update Galleries button, click the gallery name, then Upload Photos.
To permanently delete a gallery, click the Add and Update galleries button, then click the Remove Gallery button that appears when you hover over the gallery name. Once deleted, you will not be able to undo this action.
It may be possible to recover a deleted gallery, however, users must contact customer support through the Contact Us page on the PixAfar website or email support@pixafar.com. When restoring galleries, the user must have sufficient storage space available.
Not at this time, but this feature will be available soon. To download individual photos, click the Add and Update Galleries button, then hover over the photo to be downloaded, click the Edit Photo button that appears, then Download. You will then have the option to Open the photo or Save the file to disk.
To edit photos, click the Add and Update Galleries link, click the gallery name, then click the Edit Photo button that appears when you hover over a photo.
To delete a photo, click the Add and Update Galleries link, click the gallery name, then click the Remove Photo button that appears when you hover over a photo.
To update the feature image photo for a gallery, click the Add and Update Galleries button, then click the Edit Gallery button that appears when you hover over the gallery name. Select the new featured image then click Submit.
If you experience trouble uploading photos from an iPhone, due to large file sizes, it is recommended that you log into your iCloud account using the desktop application, then download the photos to disk. When the cell phone app is launched, this should improve the upload experience from a cell phone.
